Another
variation of this idea is to take two 81/2" by
11" pieces of paper
and cut them in half. On each of the four separate new
sheets use a
marking pen to list two or three words that describe
one of your most
important reasons for quitting.
Post the sheets with the reasons in a conspicuous place
eg- your refrigerator,
at the side of your computer, in the t.v. or recreation
room, etc. That way you will
be sure to remind yourself of why you want to quit.
This technique is especially
helpful when you are craving your tobacco- It will help
remind you why you want
to quit.
